This blog post is about the error Nlib NDSoundUtils Error: 0x80004005 | StartCapture: Create CaptureBuffer, which occurred when using Ashampoo Snap 9 on Windows 10.
This is a quick blog post, as the solution is quite simply. I’m running Windows 10 and when I used the video capture option of Snap 9, the above error occurred. It turns out this error only occurred when I didn’t run Snap 9 has an administrator.
Here is what I did from my non-administrator account:
- I closed Snap 9.
- I clicked on the magnifying icon in the bottom left.
- I typed in Snap, then right-clicked on the application and selected ‘Run as administrator’.
- Typed in the administrator password and then was able to capture video without experiencing the problem.
I almost didn’t write this blog post, but thought someone might appreciate the help.
Same problem . Thanks! That helped out!
Hello,
You’re welcome. Glad I was able to help.
Best regards
